On the way to work this morning, I heard a noise like I ran over a small branch, twig, or something like that. Thought nothing about it.

A while ago, a coworker comes in from lunch, and asked if I knew about the thorn in my tire. :scratchhe She didn't think it was a normal rose thorn.

Well, I find a locust branch attached to my newer tires! I cut the branch off, leaving the thorn in the tire, and hopefully can make it after work to get it fixed... right in my sidewall!! OUCH!!! :angerhead

bummer, that is a hell of a thorn. I am sorry to say that I do not believe they can plug a hole in the side wall.

Thanks, guys!

Gonna leave work in a few minutes (darn, missing out on work??!!) and see what they can do where I bought them. They're the cheapest and about the friendliest service in town, so they should take care of me; whether it's a fix, or replacement.

DAYUM!!! That's a thorn and a half!

Never had any luck with repairing sidewall damage. Don't be surprised if they refuse to attempt any type of repair and they just recommend you buy a new tire. If you go back where you bought them, you may qualify for a "road hazard" adjustment on the price of the new one.

Sucks! - I recently had a flat from the sidewall and the tire was replaced on warranty so maybe look into that.

That sucks man. I hate those things. I've taken more then enough to the head while mowing laws in high school. Why on earth you would want to put on in your yard on purpose is beyond me...

Hope you get it fixed without having to give them your arm and leg.

Dan
