I feel for you deeply bro. My AC went out a couple weeks ago when it was hitting 95 - 96 here. My downstairs was 96 degrees at midnight and I don't even wanna know what it was upstairs. Sending *COOL* vibes your way.

Been there, done that! Just put a new AC system on our truck last week, so we could make a 1400 miles drive. The week prior we were sweating inside-and it was 83* out. Luckily the repairs held, as we drove many many hours, through 100+ temps.

It would be one hell of a year to be in AC repairs!

Hang in there BF. Cooler temps and chance of rain heading into the East Coast over the next few days.

Best to you on your AC repair. Just had an AC unit go out at a rental property and the repair man found it was a disconnect failed at the unit. He wanted $400 for the replace/repair. Told him to take a hike. Went to Home Depot bought the disconnect and fixed it for $14. Bad thing about that, it is not tax deductable since I did it myself, at least the $70 will be.

I was stupid to not have checked that (checked only the main breaker, capacitors, etc.) before spending $70 for him to come out and find it.

Our company's servers are in Newark and yesterday the A/C units couldn't handle it. It was taking down 70+ servers and a few switches. They had to bring in free standing units to cool the place down.

Drink a lot of water! I usually don't start blasting the A/C at my house till it hits the higher 90s outside. TOday its in the lower 90s and I just went and hung out at the pool. Take advantage of the heat. The hotter it gets out here the smaller the bathsuits get. I'll take it!

I certainly have sympathy for you buddy. I just got my compressor replaced last week. I must say it was just in time for a heat wave. I'd be on a murderous rampage if my house was 100 degrees....

Just topped 85 here for the first time all year. Supposed to be 90 tomorrow. Of course, living in WA state, most folks don't have a/c. I just sit on the deck with a misting system and drink cold beer. Good luck on getting it fixed! Soon!
