I don't have very much money (at all); so I was wondering whats the best, cheap cigars you can buy? I am trying to start collecting rathar than just smoking, but I can't really buy anything more than five dollars sadly. ~The Bear who smokes

Since your just starting out i wouldn't be looking to build a collection, your tastes will change so best to try different things. oliva O are great, also Perdomo Lot 23 can usually be found around 4-5 bucks a stick. Oh and stumbled across brickhouse cigar this weekend, six bucks at my B&M but worth much more. Prices are usually on the high side so you should be able to find this cheaper. You can also ask the Owner/Cust. at your B&M for suggestions.
I'm a fan of El Rey Del Mundo. I just picked up 25 Robustos for 61 bucks ($2.44 a stick)which is less than half of what my local shop sells them for. If you find out what you like and then watch for online deals you really can find some steals.

+1 on all of that... although i prefer the "Best of Pepin" sampler which has three 601 greens and three 5 Vegas Miamis instead of the Cuban Classic and La Aromas. (click here to see.)
that and the Camacho (of course) Dream Team sampler (found here).
you literally cannot go wrong with each of these samplers. both have AMAZING prices for the sticks included, and they are all flavor bombs and constructed perfectly.
if, for some odd reason, you get these cigars and don't like them... send them to me. :dance:

I just want to add another endorsement to that CI DPG 'Top 25' sampler. It's 15 very good smokes, not just 'good for that price' smokes. If you watch long enough you can catch it on special, but even at $50 its a great deal.

I started out buying samplers to get a whif of what I liked. I didn't start off with anything expensive, I wanted to season my palate. If you look around there are alot of Cigar sampler deals on the web. After you burn a few sticks and get a feel of what you like, start building from there. Hope this helps.

I second the DPG top 25 sampler and best of Pepin sampler. Also, check out the Plumpin' Premiums Sampler and the Full-Bodied frenzy sampler. Some of my personal favorite budget cigars are Diesel (which is actually one of my favorite cigars over all, not just budget), 5 Vegas Relic, 5 Vegas Cask Strength II, Super Premium Seconds (which, although they don't advertise it, are Punch cigars), and Fire by Indian Tabac. Flor de Oliva are also decent. Check here for some other great deals.

+1 this is one of my fav samplers as well. I also agree with stroke on the Diesel and the Jam he mentioned is a great way to get them.
