Jere,

It was great to meet you at the show. The photos of the show that you took were awsome and I finally got to see the rest of the show through you.

Thanks again,
Jonathan

Yeah I was surprised it was gone as he said he would be letting it grow when he was up in Seattle around the 4th.

It was nuts... cool, but nuts.

There were a number of other events as well. Perhaps those that went to them will jump in here and share. I know Tim and Aaron went to the Joya de Nicaragua dinner and Davidoff cocktail party. Tim also went to the CAO dinner. Matt (Cyrann) was also there. I have no doubt he went to some events too....oh wait, no one knows who he is.
I went to Dos Jefe with everyone on MON, LP9 dinner TUES, ECCJ and Davidoff dinner WED, and Camacho on THURS... oh and ate lunch with your shady ass on FRI.

That is... if anyone cares.

I do, b/c I had a blast, but I guess that's beside the point.

Walter is nuts!...we had a great time hanging out at Harrahs casino as well as his after party... and yes he has some great cigars.. most of his stock is coming from the Camacho factories but I think he had one of the better blends for one of the "new Guys" that were at the show...loved the pairing with the Cognac that he was intorducing from his partnership with Ludacris...He said he would be intorducing a cigar to match the cognac as well.
Walt was really nice and his party was pretty chilled out. He was cracking me up every time he walked by the booth or whenever I pretty much saw him anywhere. I liked his cigar and the cognac they had. Conjure I believe it was called.

I went to Don L's Monday and Tuesday and there was a LOT of people there! It was good though. Wed and Thursday I went to the Cigar Snob/Camacho parties at the same place off that street name I cannot pronounce for the life of me Tchupsomthing.... Either way, it was really nice and I got to meet a lot of great people!

Can't wait until next year!

Thank you Jonathan, great talking with you at the show! Your booth rocked the entire time...and you could hear the music all over the place. Jessi did a fantastic job with the shoes. Tremendous talent!

Thanks for the compliment on the photos...happy to share them with you and everyone else. Glad I could bring a little of the show to you...I know you were busy as hell! I wish I would have taken more....there was so much more to see.

You callin' me shady?! DUDE?! Great hanging with you again, bro. Had a blast! Hope your hangover didn't last too long on Friday.

BTW, I have smoked and written up some comments on some of the cigars from the show. I will try to get them posted up tonight or tomorrow. Got more of them planned too!

Hey all,

Of course, there is a bunch of hype surrounding the eminent release of the Dirty Rat.

Speaking of cutters, Xikar has a couple of new ones available. One is their attack on the Palio. It features two-finger cutter action, but a single moving blade. It is available in a few finishes, including polished stainless steel, titanium, and a true carbon fiber. Also, there is a new V-cutter, not from Wolf, but has a similar blade. The construction is solid, and feels good in the hand. It also can turn over and has a curved bottom to act as a cigar holder.
I was got to try a dirty rat and it was excellent!!!

In regards to the Xikar cutters you mentioned the slim one is called the ZX ultraslim at 1/8" thick. There is another one called the X8 which can cut a 64rg, has a composite body, very sharp, and has a cigar rest. Price point is 24.99.

Did you get to see the Drew Estate lighters and cutters? Very nice. I thought the Mayan 3D cutter was wicked!

For those that attended the show, Im curious to hear what were the best new cigars you tried?

Dpricenator.

Glad that you liked the Liga and Nosotros shoes, brother. I will do my best to get you a 11.5 in one of them. Cant promise for sure, but I will do my best. The trouble is that I purchased the actual sneakers in US and shipped them to Nica, so I am not sure how many is left and who we made committments to already.

Best,
JD4

You mean the La Sirena? I think you'll like it. Gonna do a review of it soon.
Oh... thought it was a Leon, but I was a little under the weather so to speak... HA. Thanks for the clarification and again, I look forward to that review.
