On my never ending quest to smoke every Tat there is, I came across some money today from a family member as a gift. I see a 5er of Petit Cazzys, 2 Viaje red label robustos, and either a SW Reserva or Tainos. Both get great reviews, just welcome some feedback.

Thanks, bros! :glassesgr

Really either will be a great cigar. Which ever one you get you will be happy with and next time grab the other.

I really like the SW Reservas. Bought a box a year back, they were nice then, but man have they aged nicely. Great smoke

Honestly, I've never smoked a Tainos so I can't comment on that one. But I've had 2 SW Reservas and both were excellent ... I'm pretty sure The Don sneaks a bunch of Cuban tobacco in there unbeknownst to everyone else, lol.

Not knocking the Tainos but my favorite Brown Label has alway been the Unico, in my opinion it far surpasses a Monte No. 2 CC!

It's a matter of personal taste. The SW starts out so mild that I always wonder why I buy these things. Pretty quickly it ramps up to the mild/med range and the flavors start to emerge. It just continues to get more (and better) flavor as you smoke until it ends just past medium bodied. The Tainos starts great, has a great middle and a great end, but doesn't have the dynamic character of the SW. It is in the medium/full bodied range. I prefer the Tainos, but that's probably because that is what I've smoked most recently. Also, mine have a few years on them, so I have no opinion on current releases.

I have to agree about the RSW Maddie - best Tat ever! (Although, let me smoke some more Tenderloins and that may change).
