All the LE Opus, Forbidden X & Lost City's, etc. have all been excellent!!!
Are they worth it???? YMMV.

I would love to see that, I hear rumors and stuff all the time some proof would sure go a long way to settling things. There used to be a reference site out there on all the Fuente stuff and I could have swore I read that the Forbidden X is the exact same as the regular Opus X stuff.
....:thumbsup:Now, the Don Carlos Edicion de Annivesarios are a definite step up from the regular Opus.
MSRP is 40 $......:bottle:....
Some are, and some may not be...for example, the Forbidden X Chili Pepper and BBMF Natural that is sold at Casa Fuente is the exact same cigar as the Regular Opus X, just with a different band...There used to be a reference site out there on all the Fuente stuff and I could have swore I read that the Forbidden X is the exact same as the regular Opus X stuff.
Is that not just an Opus lancero though?Thge Lost city Fobidden X Lancero is one of the best cigars I've smoked this year.
I have the same 2008 Journey to Chateau de la Fuente box (brown) and it came with the following:I bought the 2008 Journey To Chateau De La Fuente Box. I know it was a Lost City- I'm not sure which one though. I'll have to check in a bit.
Yep, but still a great smoke :ccool:Is that not just an Opus lancero though?
Interesting, I could have sworn it said "Lost City" on the box. I will have to look again as I may have been imagining things.I have the same 2008 Journey to Chateau de la Fuente box (brown) and it came with the following:
Brown Box:
2 Fuente Fuente Opus X Scorpio, 2005
1 Fuente Fuente Forbidden X, Toro 2004
1 Don Carlos Edicion de Aniversario, Double Robusto 2006
If you were lucky enough to get a Black Box then the contents are as follows:
4 Fuente Fuente Forbidden X, Toro 2004
Additionally, I'm glad to hear everyone speaking so highly of the DC Edicion de Aniversario ... makes me even more excited to smoke mine!
Correct, the Lost City blend was made with tobacco that was planted out of the "Normal" season, the Forbidden (as explained above) is just a regular Opus X with a different band (for the most part)...Interesting, I could have sworn it said "Lost City" on the box. I will have to look again as I may have been imagining things.
I am assuming that Lost City and Forbidden are different, am I wrong?
As far as I know, there are no Lost City cigars released in any of the Chateau De La Fuente Boxes.I bought the 2008 Journey To Chateau De La Fuente Box. I know it was a Lost City- I'm not sure which one though. I'll have to check in a bit.
I just checked, I was wrong about it being a Lost City- the box says Forbidden. As far as I know, there are no Lost City cigars released in any of the Chateau De La Fuente Boxes.
