Yeah, don't get me wrong......I think they're still clearly different. But the Summerfest Robusto was the only one that gave me that graham cracker spice that I get every time I smoke a PSD4.

I think how I put it in another forum a day or two after I smoked one.....is it's a PSD4 on roids.

Anyway, I think what Clint is getting at here....is sticks that "MOST CLOSELY" resemble a CC. He's not looking for identical. That's not gonna happen. Pretty sure he get's that, and is just having a little fun.....nothing wrong with that. :dunno:

Yes! Yes! Finally someone gets it!

For me, Tat Havana Cazadores are reminiscent of Boli RCs, and vice versa: leather, citrus, with a touch of anise, though the Tats are by far more wildly powerful.

I'm still a bit of a newb with cc's but I might compare the PSD4 with the 03Cojonu. The Tat is a harsher smoke for sure but the flavor is there...I think:yes:

I've heard some Cuban snobs say that the closest non-Cuban cigar to a Cuban that they have had was a La Riqueza.

I myself like Maduro's and there aren't many Cuban Maduro options...

Perdomo ESV '91 vs Bolivar Royal Corona.

The first time I had a BRC, I thought it reminded me of the ESV. I then had an ESV the next week, and sure enough, that flavor was there. Having smoked another BRC since then, I think the comparison isn't 1:1 or anything, because the Boli is more complex and has other things going on, but its' still there. The "flavor" is the unique mix of pepper and cream. There are a few cigars that have both flavors, but the ESV is the only other one I've had that combines them in the "right" way.

I still prefer the Boli, but the ESV is a dang fine cigar.
