Thumbing through the new CI catalog today, an ad caught my eye. Wondering if anyone has tried these?

They look good, I'll give 'em that. I read that AJ did 'em and I like some of this other stuff so I figured they'd be worth a try. Just thought maybe someone had tried them already.

Agreed . In fact I read one ad today that described one of the flavors as charcoalIt's hard because I gather CI is quite hyperbolic in their advertisements and reviews.
Yes, I believe CI and Cigar.com are sister sites.Agreed . In fact I read one ad today that described one of the flavors as charcoal. That's not appealing to me at all :nono:.
These can be found on www.cigar.com also, are the two sites related? They have singles.

7-10 days because they were just released, and haven't landed yet lol.A little research shows that the trademark is owned by CI, and a couple of months ago was "abandoned".
So when I see that many of the vitolas are listed as being available in "7-10 days" I have to wonder if they're actually just sold out.
A truer statement is hard to find. That being said, AJ Fernandez is a true gem in this industry, so odds are it doesn't suck. In any case, I'll wait for some positive reports first. It's hard because I gather CI is quite hyperbolic in their advertisements and reviews.
You are correct sir, throw Cigar Bid in that bag, along with a host of smaller sites. All are owned by Swedish Match, which just merged with the owners of General Cigar and CAO (I forget the name of the new uber-company bent of world cigar domination).Yes, I believe CI and Cigar.com are sister sites.
Yeah, that is a nice looking sampler. Too bad I don't have the extra money or I may have bought some more cigars just then :disappoin.Interesing sampler here http://www.cigar.com/cigars/viewcigar.asp?brand=390
Where did you see that the trademark was abandoned? These are a brand new line... like they JUST started shipping. So with the trademark being "abandoned", does that mean that we have to jump on these now or never see them again?
