They actually made an appearance on the last jam, but I didn't see them live. I could only find one review on them also, but it sounded good. It's an AJ Fernandez cigar. I love all his MOW, so I gotta think it's decent.

They look good, I'll give 'em that. I read that AJ did 'em and I like some of this other stuff so I figured they'd be worth a try. Just thought maybe someone had tried them already.

It's hard because I gather CI is quite hyperbolic in their advertisements and reviews.

I've been burned a couple of times thinking I was getting a great deal on great smokes and ending up with some stuff that I not only didn't like, but thought were just kind of bad.

I'd like to read more reviews and opinions on these before I commit to a purchase, but I'm certainly very, very intrigued.

Packaging on this and the San Miguel are badass, medieval Christianity tends to be, and as a whole I think AJ is a good blender. He has more hits than misses in my book, and his stuff also tends to be reasonably priced (Diesels especially). I'm going to get a few of these and the San Miguels sometime this month probably just to try them out.

A little research shows that the trademark is owned by CI, and a couple of months ago was "abandoned".

So when I see that many of the vitolas are listed as being available in "7-10 days" I have to wonder if they're actually just sold out.

I am going to be on the look out for singles. I read about them, and I love the band. I am very intrigued and I am looking forward to trying them... when I get the opportunity

7-10 days because they were just released, and haven't landed yet lol.

A truer statement is hard to find. That being said, AJ Fernandez is a true gem in this industry, so odds are it doesn't suck. In any case, I'll wait for some positive reports first.

Yes, I believe CI and Cigar.com are sister sites.
You are correct sir, throw Cigar Bid in that bag, along with a host of smaller sites. All are owned by Swedish Match, which just merged with the owners of General Cigar and CAO (I forget the name of the new uber-company bent of world cigar domination).

So with the trademark being "abandoned", does that mean that we have to jump on these now or never see them again?

I will be honest with you guys, I hate the band. For some reason it looks a little tacky, too large and kind of ugly. However, I will always ALWAYS wait until I taste the blend before I pass judgement. So lets hope for the best, the Jam could always use another $29.99 special.
