Well said. That was sorta uncalled for. Unless you know him really well and can make that call. Can you Ryan? The cello debate here is huge and includes people with no boxes in their collection on up to people with more Opus X than Arturo himself.

No problem Just please be courteous to our follow brothers. :stickbeatyou guys need to lighten up. I was just poking at him. Thread could say "do i leave cello on box?" or it could say "i just bought 5 boxes of the face, do i leave cello on box." :skew:
lol relax, go smoke a cigar
Sealed and shrink wrapped are two different things. Those smokes gotta breathe in the humitity. IMO.Definitely leave it ON.
Why? Because cigars will get proper humidity...No worries there.
AND, if you sell or trade it later, it ads value that the box is sealed.
So are the face 10 count boxes sealed or shrink wrapped does anyone know?Sealed and shrink wrapped are two different things. Those smokes gotta breathe in the humitity. IMO.
I have opened both sealed and shrink wrapped cigars that have rested in my humi for 5+ years...They were all fine.Sealed and shrink wrapped are two different things. Those smokes gotta breathe in the humitity. IMO.
Mine was shrink wrapped and closed with one single nail. There was no label to cut that was sealing the box. Just the nail.So are the face 10 count boxes sealed or shrink wrapped does anyone know?
I've always said this, too...just think about all the boxes that sit in warehouses for long periods of time without issues. Also, a basic rule of thumb...if humidity can get out, humidity can get in.I have opened both sealed and shrink wrapped cigars that have rested in my humi for 5+ years...They were all fine.
Sealed boxes are meant to breathe, that's why they are sealed this way. Think about the many regular production boxes that sit in warehouses for months....They are sealed/shrink wrapped, stored on shelves, and delivered to customers in fine shape.
