Good link, I am gonna try all these tips out in my new truck and see if the old lady notices.http://www.botl.org/community/forums/showthread.php?t=9071
this is threat that has been here for a long time look through it and see what happens
There is no smell in my car, that's the beauty of the system we were talking about.Smoke in your vehicle if you don't mind the smell, simple as that. With 2 newer cars, the newest one the wife bought I have no choice anymore.
I smoke in the car just about every day and there is little to no smell after. The key is to create negative air pressure so all the smoke gets exhausted.
Crack the driver's side window slightly (couple of inches) with all other windows up. Turn on the fan to medium or so on the FLOORBOARD (heat or cool, doesn't matter) with the vents on/open. You will notice the air flow take all of the smoke out the driver's side window crack.
Ideally, you want all of your smoking to be done towards the window, even holding your cigar in your left hand closer to the window.
The method works and my wife (who has a keen sense of smell) will attest to it.
Having a cigar in the car is a great way to make a long drive less stressful!
No, that's not accurate at all. You want very little air; you want pressure forcing the smoke out like it's being exhausted.A lot of air is always good!
another +1 for MU MikeUp here in Michigan about the only place we do smoke in the winter is in our vehicles!
MU Mike has it exactly right. Heat blowing on the floor, crack the driver's side window about an inch. Hold your cigar in your left hand. The trick is lots of air coming in, and only one way out. DO NOT put your blower on recirculate. Fresh outdoor air is needed. The only downer to this is that the glass right where the smoke escapes needs a little wipe down every now and then. But all that residue is on the glass and not your fabric, leather or windshield.
Opening too many windows or the sunroof just confuses the smoke and creates swirls. Worse yet, it blows it all right in your face.
Another tip (if you dress nice for work), is to lay your suit coat, sport coat or jacket in the trunk of your car I(or back seat of your truck or SUV). It will remain smoke-free and need less dry cleaning.
I also have one of two car fragrance thingies under the seats--something mild like a vanilla scent that seems to blend well with the cigars.
I tried this the other day works great. Thanks for sharing I usually just let it blow around and my car always stinks.I smoke in the car just about every day and there is little to no smell after. The key is to create negative air pressure so all the smoke gets exhausted.

No, I think most of us who do it correctly make a habit of it.as long as you don't make a habit of smoking in your car you'll be fine
