Okay, I'll get right to it. I'm a complete idiot. I don't know what I was thinking. I had a smoke on wednesday night before leaving for the Holidays. I hadn't smoked much of it, and was pretty stressed about packing, so I decided not to finish my smoke. So then I did something really dumb. I let the cigar go out cut off the end, put it in a plastic bag and shoved it in my humidor to smoke later.:bangbang: Again, I have no idea why I did this. Momentary lapse of sanity.
I come back last night, and my humidor just reeks of burnt cigar. At first I'm not sure why, then it hits me... I'm a fool! I've gone through and checked and all the cigars smell fine and everything checks out, except my HF beads. I have a pound and a half, and they absolutely stink!! Anyone know of anything I can do to fix this? I'm currently airing them out, but I know how hard this smell can be to remove. I fear there might be permanent damage...
It's moments like these that I remember I'm still a n00b.
Thanks!
Oh, and I have a wine cooler as my humi with my boxes inside. I cleaned out the inside, so theres no smell there. At this point, the only thing that smells is the beads.
Jeff (hangs head in shame) :help:
