ciggy
"TommyBoy"
Has anybody else had these? I had one yesterday, a Toro, paid $6.50. I'm not sure how to explain this cigar. I may be off my rocker but it had that T-52ish profile. I didn't think it was a home run, but it did round 3rd.
Thanks Dan. I did a search but didn't click on it because "Warlock" wasn't in the tittle. Well to be honest I didn't know this was distributed by "Altadis" which I'm not a fan off. However they only distributed it, not rolled it. Had I known it was there's I would have passed it up but I'd be lying if I didn't say it was an okay cigar. Guess it's how my taste buds were poppin that day!Read this...

A few guys tried it, mostly said it wasn't too bad. I saw some in my B&M, but didn't pick any up...maybe I should try one :dunno:.

My thoughts pretty much!I considered it Illusione LIght, with more developed, pronounced flavors. I enjoyed the two I've had so far.
....x2I got one of these and I thought it was absolutely awful, I couldn't even get past the halfway point.
Too bad for them they chose a gay ass name for a cigar, or maybe it's the gay ass full page add i've seen. Looks more like an add for the Twilight series.I carry them here at the shop and I will say they are okay. Agreed with most sentiments obviously, nothing to write home about. Like most Altadis product, they don't have any sort of "wow factor".
As an aside to this, I will say it was quite funny when I ordered them. My rep told me not to put them in with my normal Altadis selection because they want it to appear as a "boutique" cigar, not something from Altadis. They obviously know they're reputation fairly well to openly tell B&M's to do this.
I'm sure you've all noticed, but Altadis has been very good (read bad) at copying off the success of other cigar manufacturers in the past 1-2 years. Starting with the A.Turrent Triple Play, the triple maduro to "compete" with the Camacho Triple Maduro. It is amazing how close Altadis made the band look to Camacho's. Now they've done the Warlock, in which the box looks surprisingly like a Pete Johnson Monster series box. And word is they are doing a sweet tipped cigar to compete with Baccarat in which the logo will be a card hand. Amazing how they feel that copying great ideas from other companies will bring success down on them.Too bad for them they chose a gay ass name for a cigar, or maybe it's the gay ass full page add i've seen. Looks more like an add for the Twilight series.

I agree, had my first and last today.
