My wife is heading out of town next weekend. This only means one thing.... a weekend of cigar smoking. I am Looking for some BOTL advice as always. I am fairly new to cigars and looking to spend some money on maybe a dozen sticks for the weekend (maybe a few 5 packs). Please list any must try cigars! I am open to any suggestions as I enjoy everything from medium to full body and flavor. I have tried almost all that (Cain, Nub, CAO, Oliva, and Hoyo De Monterrey) has to offer. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I could honestly go on forever. Keep those in mind, or make it out to Kenny The King in Lakemoor next weekend and I'll meet you with all of the above and then some, brother :)

I think you might need to rethink your priorities, if my wife was going away for the weekend I'm thinking cigar selection would be about 5th on my list!

I have time yet to make plans... cigars make the list of course among other things. I will also be making a nice trip to the liquor store to stock up; oh and Chicago Bears playoff party Sunday. Hell I have an entire week to plan the weekend!

So far the shopping list includes...
Cigars:
Padron 1965 Maduro - 5 Pack
Illusione ~88~ Robusto - 5 Pack
(Maybe) Tatuaje Noella - 5 Pack

Booze:
Tito's Vodka
Highland Park 12 Year Old

If you like full body and flavor, I suggest Macanudo or Rocky Patel Maduros. Both makers have excellent sticks and are reasonably priced as well as enjoyable. Good luck and long ashes!

I would include any liga privada's (Rat, flying pig or whichever) maybe a few Diesel's (unlimited or unholy cocktail very full body), camacho triple maduro's, and You NEED  a Pardon 1926 80 year, and some Balvenie doublewood scotch :bottle:...

Maybe I'm outing myself as a boring guy, but if my wife were going away for the weekend, cigar selection is the absolute first order of business! :)

Grab a book or two that you have been wanting to read, a nice pot or two of the coffee you like best and these sticks:

PDR SG Habano
Padron 46th
Viaje S&B OR
PDR 1878 Oscura

and have yourself a jolly good time!
