None really. Cigars are supposed to be relaxing. Not all cigars work out and that's just the way it goes so there's no sense in me getting worked up or annoyed over it, I can always toss it and get another one.

The only real drawback I've had is the band issue, That's why I leave it on until it gets in the way. Even if it does cause a problem I'm almost finished anyway, but it's still an annoyance.

1- Bad draw on any cigar especially an expensive one.
2- Wrecking a wrapper taking off a band that wasn't meant to come off apparently. Even though I wait for it to get warm by not taking it off right away.

How about guys who walk into B&Ms saying they only smoke Cubans, talking up a big game but obviously know absolutely nothing about cigars.

Those guys are the most fun.

Take some foul, no name dog rocket and slip a well known Cuban cigar band onto the cigar and give it to them. Seeing one of these guys extol on how fantastic Cuban tobacco is and how wonderful an example this particular Cuban cigar is and they know this because they "know Cubans", when the guy is really smoking something like a Don Elias or Tamboril is frickin' priceless. You just have to be able to keep a straight face.

Guys who take the band off before smoking it.

And also the above guy whom then complains about a torn cigar.

Just smoke the dang thing and take the band off when it's smoked down near it.

I don't know if this qualifies as a "pet peeve", but here's something that always lowers my spirits...

ME: Hey dude how are ya.

FRIEND: Good. Hey, want to smoke a cigar with me?

ME: Really? I had no idea you liked cigars.

FRIEND: Like? No way, man, I LOVE cigars.

ME: Sure, I'd love to smoke a cigar.

*friend hands me a Black & Mild*

My face: :wtf:

* Bands that tear the wrapper when pulled off. Its funny how the band won't come off, but the wrapper/cap will.
* Bands that won't come off clean (espicially when I plan to keep the band)
* Tight draw
* Horrible flavors on a stick that everyone "raves about"

What drives me absolutely bonkers is when I go to smoke on my break at work, and I drop a big, long ash on myself. Oh my God. I want to punch myself in the balls and then put the cigar out in my eyeball. I'm pissed right now just thinking about it.

I have got a couple
1. poor construction/appearence on a premium cigar, be it a soft spot, to many sun spots, a plug in the middle, etc. if i pay for a premium cigar i expect quality control

2. the brand/style snob. you know the guy who says x brand is the only brand worth smoking and has to tell you why everything else (especially what your smoking) is crap. or the guy who only smokes nic, dom, or honduran tobacco. Hey if you only smoke one style/brand that is ok just don't try to convert me to your way of thinking.

3. B&M that try to push a certain cigar on you. OK so rocky patels are your biggest seller, you have a hard time keeping them in stock, how about letting me pick what i like to smoke.

1. people that going into a B&M and just buy NC RyJ/Cohiba/HdM crap.
2. every 'new' cigar smoker telling me that Rocky Patel is the best.
3. going into a B&M and them trying to push a crap brand on me and treating me like I'm an idiot because I am young.

Ha ha ha. That is easily one of my biggest pet peeves. I save ALL of my bands and I get really frustrated when I can't keep them in good shape or if trying to get them off makes me lose my ash.

Hmmm.... It also irks me when I managed to keep an ash all the way down to the nub and right before I take a picture I lose it.

Not too many things bother me while I'm enjoying a good cigar though.
Especially with that gorgeous scenary you post pics of, brother!!
