This morning the outside temp. gage read -7 Deg F. Later in the day the temp rose to a balmy 12 deg, but there was no wind. So decided to go out for a smoke. Started fine, but then I started having draw problems. My saliva was freezing on the end of the stick plugging it up.

Wow, that is first time I've heard that experience.

I wonder if Canucks have some evolutionary advance in their saliva that prevents ice build-up?:robosmile

Wow. I don't know whether to say, that is awesome, or that really sucks. Either way, it is a hell of a story.

can't even imagine it being that cold. we hit 75 today.
Ass... Haha.

Yeah was about 15 degrees here in New England. I was smoking in my garage with the door cracked to vent it out and I needed a sweat shirt and a winter jacket. Tomorrows high is 5 degrees, -10 low.

They showed on the news some place where it was sub-zero. A guy poured hot water into a cup and threw the water into the air and it pretty much instantly turned to snow... I've never seen that before.

That's freakin' nuts . I can't imagine. I'd prefer it to be 70 or warmer all year...should've moved south when I had the chance a few years back.

Yuck.

Man, I totally got into cigars at the wrong time. BEGINNING to take up the hobby in late September (and living in the North East) couldn't possibly have been timed worse :rolling:

When I surfaced through the ice near the North Pole it was around -30. I passed out all the cigars I had to my shipmates. Does temperature effect the taste of cigars? Yes, but they make great moments even better.

Australia is messed up. Back in the 1920's they set the world record for 160 CONSECUTIVE DAYS with a temperature ABOVE 100 DEGREES.

Imagine that? 160 straight days of 100+ degree whether with no air conditioning.

You got to buy a heater for your garage. It was 10 degrees cast night. Went into the garage cracked the door for venting and with the heater I didn't even notice the cold.

That story is sick I'd love to see that.

I had a temp of -23 degrees today!!! My garage is insulated and connected to the house, so I decided to "heat it" by keeping the door open to it for a few hours... All of this to have my LFD airbender chisel, and it was well worth it!!!
