No thanks.6x60 sizing
Eh. Whats with these 6x60 cigars. I don't go bigger than a Robusto usually.
I agree, too big but its an industry trend. A number of highly praised manufacturers seem to be leaning this way as of late, perhaps the idea is more bang for your buck? I'm not sure.Yeah I don't get it either.
Two trends in cigar making today that really don't appeal to me:
-make it as big as possible
-make it as strong as possible, even if it means sacrificing flavour
Like I said, I don't mind a 60 RG on some shorter cigars. I quite enjoy Nubs, and I'm really interested in trying the new Torano cigar, Fortress, which is exclusively large RG's.
But it seems nearly every company has lines of 6x60's (sometimes called "double toros") and those just don't appeal.
Let alone the Rolando Reyes Pirate's Gold brand, where you can get crazy stuff like 10x64's or whatever. Like...why??

I do enjoy Nubs. I'm a fast smoker and with a wide ring gauge you can go to town on them bad boys. But 6" is way to long for a cigar that fat.Yeah I don't get it either.

:grin:I've heard they are tasty... but not from an unbiased source.
