Hey all, very new here on the forum, but I've been smoking cigars for 3 years. I've noticed over the past year or so I've become a "hermit" with my cigars, meaning that I don't really experiment much outside of what I normally smoke. So I was hoping to come here and get some suggestions from my fellow BOTLs to see what cigars you guys can come up with that I can find at my B&M.

My go to smokes:
Oliva O Perfecto
Casa Magna Robusto
Ashton VSG
Oliva G Maduro
DPG Cuban Classic

Hopefully that covers what flavors I prefer, thanks!

There is nothing wrong with smoking what you like but if you are interested in expanding your horizon on cigars there are :lookaroun TONS  of options out there. Here are a couple of my favorites, but the best option is to just jump in and try anything and everything.

Tatuaje (any)
Illuisione (any)
Liga Privada (T52)
Casa Fernandez (anagorsa leaf)
Olivia V

I'll 2nd the illusione, Liga Privada, and tat brown label.
^ This

I pretty much only smoke Tats, Padrons (all, any), LP (52's), Illy's, Kristoff Maduro's, DPG anything 601 Blues, Murcielago etc.......but it was the journey of smoking hundreds of different cigars that led me to this conclusion that was the most enjoyable part :cbig:

all the above suggestions. i will add J. Fuego Origens to the list. I was going to say that it is very underrated, but everyone thinks highly of them, so i'll say theyre "well-rated"

oh, if you havent had any oliva V's i would try those too.

Funny hobby we have here, because after 3 years you are looking to experiment and get away from your constants, and after 3 years I'm moving in the exact opposite direction. I'm trying to elminate my constant need to throw time and money after every new cigar out there, and settle into finding consistent "go to" smokes. Guess that's what makes this fun for everyone.

I think a lot of us could post unlimited amount of cigars. I will recommend a couple that have alreay been posted but that I think are can't miss cigars.

Illusione
Casa Fernandez

You have to try the Illusione line, great cigars!!

I don't have any different input here but wanted to say welcome to the forum. Anything I'd of suggested has been covered already. I will add though to try all of Petes stuff as well as Dions stuff as they each offer different lines and they all are fantastic.

Wow, the Sausage King of Chicago is now a BOTL! Welcome! :cbig:

All the smokes listed by others are fantastic, especially Tatauje, Illusione, and Padrón. I would also add EP Carrillo to the list. The Short Run (if you can find any), the Core Line, and the new Elencos are kick-ass smokes.

Everyone's palate is different & sometimes one persons tastes will even change alot over time. This tends to make recommendations difficult. That said, there is a reason that some of the same sticks & brands keep getting suggested again & again.

Personally, I feel that the search for a new cigar to love is often as much fun or more than sitting down with one of your old favorites. Savour the journey my brother!

David, I'm fairly surprised that you're having to resort to this... I would have figure that you knew well enough to not have to ask what everyone else is smoking.

I've liked both of the Diesels that I had, Unlimited and Unholy Cocktail, although they're very strong ROTT. I liked the AF King (I think it was) that I had a while back. Everyone else has mentioned Illusione, LP, and Tat, so I won't bother.

Honestly I'm not sure what I haven't suggested to you...

Edit: The Cain line is something that I've never heard talked down upon. I know that you like Oliva, and Cain is made by Oliva so it wouldn't hurt for you to try. They also make them in NUB's..
