Do you have a locker at your local B&M? My local spot just got some in and I am thinking about buying one. Just wanted to get everyone opinions.

Curious. Never seen them locally. What do they charge, and is there a purpose beyond not having your own humidor?
Don't have to carry stuff back and forth between the B&M and home.. Most people I know who have lockers have sticks in both locations.

I would like to know as well. I have seen them at a few B&Ms but never knew why someone would want one if you have a humidor at home.

depends on the amount of storage you have. i only have a couple of desktops at home, but a locker at the b&m. mucho less hassles at home that way! unless you're a baller like some around here that have their own walk-in humis at home.............

they have them at the LCDH in windsor, though since you can't smoke at any of the b&ms here in Ontario I never really saw the point of getting one. I asked the guys working there and they said most of them were filled with guys from the USA who would keep their cubans there so they didn't have to take large quantities across the border. :dunno:

If I could smoke and hang out at a b&m though, I would definitely have a locker there just for the convenience.

Another bonus of lockers is if you have a nagging wife/girlfriend, you can leave purchases in the locker and they won't see them.

Hmmmm...are yall concerned about the smoke from the lounge getting onto the sticks over time?

I don't know if it is a problem, but...

The lockers at my local B&M are $300 for a year but if your'e a member of their cigar club(discounts and 2 free sticks a month) its only $200. The membership only cost me $50 but I dont think I buy enough bulk to justify a locker. That and I like a lot of variety so I rarely buy a whole box without splitting it with a buddy

I like to have my stuff sent to the office, then sneak it in when she's not lookin..

my problem with lockers is that I have to trust the shop has someone who knows what they are doing when it comes to storage. How many time have we heard a tobaconist say "that's plume" when clearly it is not. That makes me think the next statement could be, "75% is perfect, and now we don't keep the AC on 24/7". Just sayin

I agree. I'd probably put one of my desktop humidors in the locker.

Wow. I thought maybe a couple of bucks a month. For that price, I would just keep buying igloodors as needed, and buy a nice sized one at some point.

I keep one at a B&M near my house. It's nice. For $300 a year I have a place to store my good smokes, and I know they are tended to. I have free lounge access-otherwise they charge a fee, or you have to smoke what you buy there. I think there are a few other perks, but it's just nice. I store cigars at my house, in the locker, in my RV, and at a buddies place in another state. If something burns down, at least ALL of my smokes won't be destroyed.

Very diversified.
