Don't have to carry stuff back and forth between the B&M and home.. Most people I know who have lockers have sticks in both locations.Curious. Never seen them locally. What do they charge, and is there a purpose beyond not having your own humidor?
they have them at the LCDH in windsor, though since you can't smoke at any of the b&ms here in Ontario I never really saw the point of getting one. I asked the guys working there and they said most of them were filled with guys from the USA who would keep their cubans there so they didn't have to take large quantities across the border. :dunno:Curious. Never seen them locally. What do they charge, and is there a purpose beyond not having your own humidor?
Wow, to me that seems pricey!!!I just moved and my new local has them. The cost is 500 per year and I'm really considering it.
I like to have my stuff sent to the office, then sneak it in when she's not lookin..Another bonus of lockers is if you have a nagging wife/girlfriend, you can leave purchases in the locker and they won't see them.
I agree. I'd probably put one of my desktop humidors in the locker.my problem with lockers is that I have to trust the shop has someone who knows what they are doing when it comes to storage. How many time have we heard a tobaconist say "that's plume" when clearly it is not. That makes me think the next statement could be, "75% is perfect, and now we don't keep the AC on 24/7". Just sayin
Very diversified.I keep one at a B&M near my house. It's nice. For $300 a year I have a place to store my good smokes, and I know they are tended to. I have free lounge access-otherwise they charge a fee, or you have to smoke what you buy there. I think there are a few other perks, but it's just nice. I store cigars at my house, in the locker, in my RV, and at a buddies place in another state. If something burns down, at least ALL of my smokes won't be destroyed.
