So I use my BB calendar to record dates of when cigars went into the humi and as a means of keeping inventory. So I'm sitting having a smoke and decided to look at how long a smoke has been resting only to find that most of my entries are no longer there. WTF.....
After a quick google it appears that BB will purge older entries if the memory is low without indication or notice. If you are smarter than me you probably sync your BB with your PC. Free up space, then resync phone to "restore" the calendar entries. No biggie right? Well I haven't synced my phone since acquiring it and there's no way to recover the lost data. Thanks RIM.
If you record your inventory on your BB like me SYNC YOUR PHONE! I have 4GB device memory untouched but it doesn't matter.
Short of keeping a handwritten ledger, labelling or keeping a spreadsheet anyone have any other ways to keep inventory?
:argh: sorry for the quasi rant...
