I could use your help.
More than a year ago, I started reading this forum regularly and what had been an occasional cigar with friends became a full blown habit.
After reading dozens of articles about cigar storage, I decided to order a vinotemp 28, 2 lbs of beads, battery powered fans (air freshener type) and two digital hygrometers. In August (2010) I placed an order with Chasidor for the shelves and drawers to go into the vinotemp, based on the posts of several other members who had ordered from him. I paid for the items via ****** the same day I placed the order, and received a confirmation email from Chasidor.
I knew from reading the posts on BOTL that Chasidor could sometimes take 2-3 months to complete an order. As such, I waited 4 months before I started sending emails to Chasidor asking for an update on the order status.
It has now been 11 months since I placed, and paid for, my order. I have sent a dozen or so emails to Chasidor, some through his website, some direct. After almost a year, I have yet to receive my order, or any response from Chasidor to any of my emails.
I hope this is the right place to post this; if not, let me know and I'll move it wherever it should go.
I could really use some guidance on how to proceed. Everything I have read on this forum suggests that Chasidor is a stand up guy and safe to do business with. I'm not sure if my situation is the result of a misunderstanding or perhaps just a communications problem, but I would certainly welcome any assistance or suggestions you might have to offer.
