In case you all haven't heard, there's a big boycott of Starbucks today by an anti-gun group. Make sure you stop in and buy some coffee. I picked up a cup and a travel French Press before work.

pardon the ignorance on this, but why are anti-gun people boycotting Evil Coffe Giant INC? no clue what the connection may be.
The anti gunners want Starbucks to ban guns in stores. Starbucks has always said they are not taking one side over another. Starbucks says that the customers should just follow the state law. So, here in OH, I can CCW or open carry in the stores.

I stopped by Starbucks this morning and bought a Carmel Apple Spice and a piece of cinnamon swirl coffee cake. :)

^^^ bingo

Starbucks often makes the news because they support gun rights and don't outright ban firearms in their stores (unless the state/local law overrides them). Anti-gunners caught wind of this and freaked out because they think Starbucks is now a dangerous place. The obviously aren't aware that people carry firearms around them every day...

so... the anti-gun people are actively trying to infringe on a business's right to decide how they want to operate? huh.

setting aside coffee prejudices and getting a quad espresso today on principle.

Call it a coincidence, but anti-gun people are most always anti-rights (though, most of them don't realize it)

This is just dumb. Guns don't kill people, if they did then; Forks would make you fat, cars would make you crash, pencils would make spelling errors, and so on. Smart gun rights and education create a safer society.

A local at the Washington Arms Collector shows makes these badges and T-shirts. My dad wears his all the time.

You silly naive noobs... this is all a Starbucks marketing ploy and reading how many of you are going to Starbucks today to show support (that normally don't like Starbucks), sounds like it's working! :)
