Barclay Rex and The Face. Your thoughts?

From what I've read thus far it seems like you're comparing apples to oranges. Yeah they're both fruit, but completely different at the same time. :dunno:

I agree with that and like I said the other day(and the reviewmaster Jere said), the BR definitely definitely had that Big Brother of the PT thing going on. The Face is a completely different cigar IMO, but both are great cigars, just different.

I really like the Rex. The Face was not my favorite. It was fine but the Mexican wrapper just didn't do if for me. I might feel differently after a year or so but I'm leaving them alone for now.

I have had the face was a great smoke i enjoyed it alot just hard to get but thats how it normally goes. it was my first of the monster series. trying to get my hands on the barclay.

Barclay Rex in NY got a limited edition stick made for them called the Barclay Rex 100th for their 100th anniversary. Pork tenderloin is another stick created for a shop in MA called Gloucester cigar.

Been collecting a ton of cigars since I've been deployed, including 2 boxes of face, a bundle of PT, box of Barclay, box of The Frank, a box of The Boris, and hopefully a box of Anarchy. Cant wait till December when I get home and get to try em all and see what the hypes about!
