Got to agree. There were too many different elements fighting for dominance in this one. I did not care for it either.KPP said:Sierra Nevada Life & Limb...
Tastes to me like another belgian/stout hybrid, and that comes across as confusing to my palate. That's how it tastes to me anyway...more for you guys that love it.
Having a dfh punkin here. I like the moylans alot and it is easy to find and cheaper than most. Nothing holds a candle to the Pliny though.KPP said:Pliny the Elder to kickstart a pre-funk before heading to watch a football game. This is what a DIPA should be like..
My first Moylans Hopsickle on deck, and curious to see how it'll compare. Ive heard good things.
Happy Saturday gents, cheers!
I've only had a few october beers, but I like Sam's the best so far. Good choice IMO!Just some Sam's October.....
Rochefort 10 has been a favorite of mine for a few years now. Fantastic beer! Maybe I'm just lucky but it's available everywhere here.Everybdy been laying off the last couple days? This past weekend I enjoyed a bottle of 3 floyds zombie dust, a couple bottles of Saint arnold pumpkinator, a bottle of founders breakfast stout, and finished the weekend off with a bottle of deschuttes Stoic.
Beer I think you all need to try trappist rochefort 10....this is a solid quad that comes ain with an abv around 11.5, smooth, aromatic , and the closest thing yet I've had to westvleteren 12. An excellent beer if you can find it!
I was lucky enough to pick up a bottle in Pensacola a couple of months ago. They said it was the first time they were able to get any in a couple of years. Wish I could have gotten more. Definitely ranks up there in my personal top 5 favs.jayro75 said:Rochefort 10 has been a favorite of mine for a few years now. Fantastic beer! Maybe I'm just lucky but it's available everywhere here.
