Sierra Nevada Life & Limb...

Reminds me to an extent of the Stone Belgo Anise...only I liked this one considerably more. Not enough to ever buy again though.....for me it was just ok. Tastes to me like another belgian/stout hybrid, and that comes across as confusing to my palate. That's how it tastes to me anyway...more for you guys that love it.

Got to agree. There were too many different elements fighting for dominance in this one. I did not care for it either.

Pliny the Elder to kickstart a pre-funk before heading to watch a football game. This is what a DIPA should be like..

My first Moylans Hopsickle on deck, and curious to see how it'll compare. Ive heard good things.

Happy Saturday gents, cheers!

Having a dfh punkin here. I like the moylans alot and it is easy to find and cheaper than most. Nothing holds a candle to the Pliny though.

I drank a Three Floyds Gumballhead earlier then my rye malt saison. Now I'm drinking a Hanssen's Oude Gueuze. Goddamn I love these sour beers. I can't wait to make one. The bitch of it is though, they take well over a year to ferment!

Everybdy been laying off the last couple days? This past weekend I enjoyed a bottle of 3 floyds zombie dust, a couple bottles of Saint arnold pumpkinator, a bottle of founders breakfast stout, and finished the weekend off with a bottle of deschuttes Stoic.

Beer I think you all need to try trappist rochefort 10....this is a solid quad that comes ain with an abv around 11.5, smooth, aromatic , and the closest thing yet I've had to westvleteren 12. An excellent beer if you can find it!

Rochefort 10 has been a favorite of mine for a few years now. Fantastic beer! Maybe I'm just lucky but it's available everywhere here.

I was lucky enough to pick up a bottle in Pensacola a couple of months ago. They said it was the first time they were able to get any in a couple of years. Wish I could have gotten more. Definitely ranks up there in my personal top 5 favs.

I guess I'm spoiled it's at all the stores I shop at really. I even have a couple Rochefort glasses. If you want one go to merchant du vin (the importer's site) and they're a steal at $5.95 in my opinion.
