Still shocked nobody drove the bus on stogieninja
My address isn't in the hands of very many here. Getting bombed wasn't my intent with this post, I'm just wanted to know folks opinions was all!
I wasn't implying in any way that you had any intent other than receiving info. I just so happen to have a whole box landing today or tomorrow and i love to share sticks I really enjoy.

Tell you what, we won't even call it a bomb, just a friendly sharing of a stick I think is great is all. Then you can decide if you like it or not :)

Hey Stogie!!! Wanna send me your address?

No, you're not scary at all. But, I think the intent of Ryan was to gift you one so you could form your own opinion. Having said that, send your address, and let him show you the kindness you have shown so many here...

but anything with pelo de oro is a must try, need to order some of these.

i really like that he shares the breakdown of the blends, but not a fan of most the art he is using.

Which other Pelo de Oro sticks would you recommend?

la verite 2009s, pepin 10th anniversary, room 101 daruma and daruma gold, my father LEs, jaime garcia 2011 (i think the JG 2012 possibly as well, but not 100% on tahat one) camacho ecuador has it but i haven't tried it yet, that's on my to-do list along with the caldwell....

have heard conflicting info that the my father 1922s' wrapper that is dubbed 'nicaraguan habano' are actually aged PdO but til the garcia family confirms this it's speculation, great cigar regardless....
the l'ateliers wrapper is a hybrid partially based on the strain, try the lat lancero and the new 38 special lance shipping soon.

pepin allegedly loves it but stopped growing it because it's difficult, susceptible mold issues or something.
someone must be having success with it lately with all these new cigars using it.

there is also a PdO 'puro' in the works:
http://halfwheel.com/felipe-gregorio-pelo-de-oro-ipcpr-2014/63716

never tried any of gregorio's work, but should be interesting if nothing else...

Interesting...I did not know the Daruma was sporting Pelo de Oro. Love learning something new, and that's one of my personal Top 10 cigars. I nabbed a single Camacho Ecuador the other day. Toro was $7 at the B&M, and I'm hoping it's similar. Good price, especially when the Darumas finally all disappear.

Still haven't tried that LFD NAS I've had stewing since last year, but it's allegedly 100% PdR ligero, per halfwheel.

Caldwell doesn't top My Father for artwork, but they're still one of my favorites looks-wise. Took a couple more pics a minute ago -

How is the murcias and Gibraltar?
I just got those 2 singletons at a B&M last week and haven't tried them. I want to give them another week or two to acclimate to 65% then I'll dig in :smokingbo
