I too am curious about the JV line....I really like the Eastern Standard and the Long Live the King, but haven't tried The King is Dead. Maybe I'll complete the trifecta tonight.

The art work is initially attracted me to the cigars. I love it. I've only had LLTK, I enjoyed it. Can't wait to sample the rest.

I just knocked down a Murcias from the JV line. Solid cigar and priced right at ~$6 MSRP. Not as complex or wow-factor as the top shelf ones, but if you can get 'em for $5 or so I'd do some more. Had a nice bit of red pepper heat to go with the maduro spices and chocolate flavors.

Nice feedback. I just got sent three with box purchase, will be trying soon

Very nice!! Just got some from a Caldwell rep at a herf on Friday night that I am letting rest a few weeks in the humi based on others suggestions and feedback. Others who tried the sticks there mentioned sea salt and caramel flavors in the Caldwell line which has me very excited to try them.

That flavor profile is very accurate for the long live the king lance for sure. Awesome!

Well I didn't get the lance, but I will make sure I do with a quickness! Salted caramel is one of my weaknesses and am quickly starting to love most lanceros

Just lit up my sexing LLTK lance, from the same box the first came from.

The first tasted like soap.

This one tastes like soap.

Was bombed one and will try that one to see if it tastes like soap. If it does, I'll know not to keep buying them. But damn, I like Caldwell and I WANT to like this stick, it being a lance and all.

Anyone else with a soapy sadness about these?
