LCC in Delafield is a regular stop whenever I am in the area which is fairly often. I haven't been there much since Don and Mary Lynn sold out though. COVID kind of put the kibosh on my travels so I haven't had a chance to meet the new owner yet. The guys from here (@mwlabel @pbibby and some others) have gotten together there a couple of times but not for the past 2 years or so.Hey!
Thanks Rupe! I’m in a suburb in the Madison area. I’ve gone up to MN a couple time to herf with some gents up there. Have met up with some at LCC in Delafield, WI and TR in Monona, WI. How about you Rupe?

I'm gone a couple of years and the MN Herf crew falls apart?! What's going on up there?!LCC in Delafield is a regular stop whenever I am in the area which is fairly often. I'm actually about 2 hours south of Minneapolis in a town called Winona. It's in the Mississippi river valley about 1/2 hour north of Lacrosse (on the Minnesota side). The Minnesota BOTL crew used to get together quite frequently at Tobacco Grove up in the Twin Cities as well but the old Minnesota gang has kind of fizzled out over the past couple of years. There are still a couple of guys I will smoke with when I visit up there though.
Your speaking my language Rupe! LCC I haven’t been to myself since Don & Mary Lynn sold to Matt. My good friend Alex works there part time and also for Madison PD. It’s still a great place imho. Can be a good honey hole from time to time as well.LCC in Delafield is a regular stop whenever I am in the area which is fairly often. What’s up brother! That’s awesome! I used to live just over the channel from the new Tasting Room in Monona. Just moved though. North East side of Madison now.I'm gone a couple of years and the MN Herf crew falls apart?! What's going on up there?!
The "new" LCC is still nice. There's a couple changes that I like more, a couple that I like less, but overall I'm rarely in there now that my humi is full and my smoking has slowed way down. Perhaps another herf is in order...
@ Frost, welcome from the Milwaukee area! I used to live right by the LCC, but have since moved a bit east.
Thanks Alwayslit! Nice nameWelcome to the madness
I am, worked in Palatine for 30 years, and live in Roselle.Right on! Chicagoland be huuuge! You in the berbs Icehog?
Not to bad of an area! I’m just a hop skip and a jump from there. I remember a few lounges in the Shaumburg area. Sticks be pricey though! One of my favorite lounges of all time, which I’m sure you’ve been to, is Casa de Montecristo in Countryside. Wonderful place!I am, worked in Palatine for 30 years, and live in Roselle.
I've been to CdM several times, although not since Covid. The lounge by Woodfield in Schaumburg (Byron's) is now owned by them and renovated pretty extensively. They have the private members lounge like CdM now, but there regular area is fine for a smoke and a conversation. Not to bad of an area! I’m just a hop skip and a jump from there. I didn’t know that! I appreciate that update! Sounds like a trip to check it out may be in the works!I've been to CdM several times, although not since Covid. There’s a picture that sounds like a it was the beginning of a wonderful evening! Pete is one brand owner I have yet to meet. Always wanted to, but I’m not a big crowd fighter myself. Awesome pic at CDM!!!I used to go to the CDM in countryside quite a bit. BOTL @JDog had a membership in the private lounge in the basement and we would meet up for a smoke 3-4 times a year. I particularly remember a latelier event with Pete and Casper a few years back. We hung around afterwards with just a handful of people until 1 in the morning and Pete poured me into my rental car. (Really shouldn’t have been driving that night). Magical!

I met Pete at LCC. It was the first brand event I ever did (had recently turned 18) and I assumed that the place would be mobbed, so my buddy and I got there insanely early. If it started at 2:00, we were probably there at noon. Early. Pete walked in just as we were sitting down. He easily could have ignored, or just given a quick hello to, the teenagers. Instead, he plopped down next to us and chatted nearly the entire time leading up to the event. While I think that speaks tremendously about Pete and Tatuaje, I think that also speaks to the kind of place LCC is.There’s a picture that sounds like a it was the beginning of a wonderful evening! Moral of the story: get there early for events
