Hong Kong style lunch included...

Five story pork, basically bacon cut different and cooked. Dipped in mustard....sooooo good

Pig leg/foot....meh

And one of my fave things here, black mushrooms, which is ironic because I hate mushrooms in US.

So cool that it's made of tea. They must press the imprint?
Yes, pu'er tea is steamed then pressed into a round puck usually then aged for years as part of post fermenting to give it's flavor.

In this case they pressed it into the picture. He said I could break chunks and drink but seems like a strange thing to do since its so awesome!

No way would I break it up just to drink it. Such a cool thing for a tea lover like you to have on the wall.

It's nice to know bacon can be appreciated everywhere.

Well, Macau is like mini Vegas. Spending a couple nights at the Venetian between busy weeks...

Started with a nice Portuguese dinner in a little restaurant in town down this alley street

Had some delicious clams

Some piggy

And some veal I forgot to photograph because we swallowed it whole

Then we ventured about to a couple hotels and stopped in the Davidoff lounge in the galaxy resort for a Cohiba Esplendidos. Pretty good smoke, not worth the $54 :)

I'll try to get sine scenic pics of Macau tomorrow. There is the grand prix in town we are going to check out so I'm pretty pumped. Wor-cation!

What a day exploring Macau. I'm exhausted and have a blister on my foot from walking all day lol

Started off with a dim sum bunch then heading to the grand prix which happened to be in town! Lucky me since its something I would have never gone to otherwise

...won't let me upload my video of cars flying by at 200mph...was awesome :)

After the grand prix we headed across town to sight see. This is an older casino

As we made our way to st Paul's landmark we dealt with the masses. When they say this place is densely populated they are still under stating it...

The sheer volume of people is absurd

Getting close

Yay!!!

Long walk just to look at something but now I can say I've been there

Why are there so many people lol

Lunch time!!!

A little gem in Macau. By gem I mean good food, very not classy...

This pork sandwich was legendary

Then some pig intestine(tripe)...yuck!

Then heading down the road for dessert

Some sweet milk dessert that tasted like rice pudding with non homogenized milk

And an egg version

Both were good

Dinner time!

Started with a shrimp appetizer

Then the masterpiece...drum roll

Macau crab and clam hot pot

This was so ridiculously good that we ordered a bowl of rice at the end to use up some of the remaining broth. Unbelievable!!!

Then we caught a Vegas style site called something something dancing water :)

Pretty awesome actually. A lot of high flying stunts and people jumping down from rafters. Intense

Then caught a cab back for $400(hkd) which is 8 times the meter rate but cabs are at a premium and drivers won't take you anywhere unless they can rob you since there are so many people and they wait fit someone willing to pay. Quote the racket but the alternative was waiting three hours in the shuttle bus line....no

Cool looking downtown

Rear view

Home sweet home...Venetian

Grabbed a quick shower, laying in bed relaxing, and calling it a night. Don't even have enough juice to hit a cigar lounge lol

Flying to Hangzhou tomorrow so need to rest up. More adventures await, but my one day vacation is over:(
