This whole thread confuses me... what are you trying to do??? or find out other than how they smell?

Hmmm, it's kinda like cuban maduro.

Seriously, if you can smell a difference you have a very special schnoz.

It should smell cuban...why do you ask?

They smell the same to me so I can't help.

Why can't you try to explain more man...no one has a clue as to why you are even asking...they smell like cuban maduro wrappers for cryin' out loud.

You really need to take the time to explain yourself a little better Cohiba123. It makes getting answers much easier.

If I understand you correctly, the EL (also sometimes refered to as Cuban Maduro) wrappers smell different than NC Maduro wrappers. Does that help?

All Cuban cigars, I doubt anyone can differentiate the smell of the wrapper from the rest of the cigar, smell different then non-Cuban cigars.

What is the point of your questioning, not to mention your cryptic behavior...the fact a Cuban smells different than a non-Cuban should be common knowledge.

Just a wierd thread here. Cohiba should have stated what he wanted answered more clearly instead of us guessing.

Certainly interesting Cohiba.

It takes a long time to be able to differentiate smells of non-lit cigars. I can't do it, maybe slightly I can.

I think you would be better off verifying other aspects of the cigar/box if you need to verify their validity.

I'm not sure what he is trying to do Tom.

This thread is straight out of the twilight zone.

Do these have a differnt smell than the regular cuban cigars?
This is easy. Someone go stick their nose in a box of 03 Cohiba Edicion Limitada and then in a boxof 03 Esplendidos and tell us if they smell different. If I could do this I would say no, they don't. Same smell.

Cohiba you are a strange strange person.

If you're that concerned pick up two boxes.

I hate to even respond to this thread as I'd like to see it just go away, but I had to respond to the above. Based on the original, and strange, question, the above wouldn't give an answer. He asked if Cuban Maduro's smelled different than just regular every day maduro. Comparing a regular production cuban to an EL cuban wouldn't answer what he was asking. That is if I even understood his question to begin with.

I'm sorry if the guy's genuine and simply can't articulate himself, but he's been asked multiple times fo more information and to clarify himself. I'm all for locking the thread. Either he has the info he needs, or he can start a new thread asking the question in a better way. Just my opinion.
