I hate to even respond to this thread as I'd like to see it just go away, but I had to respond to the above. Based on the original, and strange, question, the above wouldn't give an answer. He asked if Cuban Maduro's smelled different than just regular every day maduro. Comparing a regular production cuban to an EL cuban wouldn't answer what he was asking. That is if I even understood his question to begin with.

I'm sorry if the guy's genuine and simply can't articulate himself, but he's been asked multiple times fo more information and to clarify himself. I'm all for locking the thread. Either he has the info he needs, or he can start a new thread asking the question in a better way. Just my opinion.
This is a majorly strange thread, but I love a challenge. :jitb:

The original question: Cohiba Edicion Limitada 2003 ;Do these have a differnt smell than the regular cuban cigars?

Upon performing the above test yesterday, answer: Nope.

I don't think I have ever had as many looks on my face as I did reading this thread. Curiousity, smile, frown, laugh, dumbfounded, stupified and finally a WTF.

I still have no idea what just happened. You sound like the guys on Biodome trying to tell what each other ate by smelling farts.

Naw. I had too much fun going up to the place where I occasionally procure products of this type and performing the experiment. The owner thought I was nuts but let me do it.:nodlaugh: :nodlaugh:

And JWR - No harm no foul my friend.

I think I finally figured this guy out...he's posted the same question at CA...and with the same round and round questions and answers...easy to see he's just bored.
