Expensive hammer.

With all of the small 9mm options available, I've never seen a reason to go with .380.Just looking for general impressions. Wife carries a S&W Bodyguard and hates the DA trigger. I'm not super keen on the 380 round but the Lehigh defense 90gr Penetrator looks like a nice defensive round option.
Exactly.Expensive hammer.
I'm sure if I keep shooting it I'll get more comfortable.Yeah the pinky thing... You love it or hate it. I have been shooting a Glock 26 with a two finger grip for some time. Hence, I have become very comfortable with the two finger grip. I really couldn't care less if I have a three finger grip anymore. The added concealability I do care about though.
If a three fingered grip single stack in 9mm was a prerequisite, I would have bought the Walther PPS no questions asked lol. Now there is a great pistol .
I wish I could conceal a double stack comfortably... HK anyone .
It sounds like your lowest finger might be hanging off a little and you're squeezing with your whole hand while pulling the trigger. It is a common problem with smaller guns. I had the same problem until I put a +2 round extender on my Glock 26 magazines,No - I am generally not that invested. What's the radius of a baseball? The groups were about that size. I'll be glad to take pictures next week for you.
As for timing. I don't really have anyone who like shooting to go with. If I meet a dude at the range, I'll ask him to time me next time. Though I should say dude or dudette lol. There were a lot of women at the range today.
EDIT - I guess I could just shoot some video next round out lol! I'll do that.
Homemade cowhide, a little thin.Horsehide Crossbreed?
That sucks... Had the front site fall of a PPS at the range once. Embarrassing as shit when they had to call a cease fire and make everyone unload so I could walk in front of the firing line and retrieve my stupid site. Luckily it was a threaded site pin and some locktite fixed the problem. Never had a slide stop break.Well crap... the piece that holds the slide open on my little Nano snapped off today. 400 rounds in. Sigh.
Guess I am going to see how Beretta's customer service is.
Thanks man - trying to log into my account - figures I forgot my password lol. That sucks... Had the front site fall of a PPS at the range once. Good luck with customer service.
Good to know - I'll let you all know.Slide stops are pretty common in the broken parts department. They are stressed so much that even the slightest flaw in one can cause it to break.
Easy fix. Beretta should take good care of you.
You could always replace it with a ny trigger and get it up to about 8 lbs. I'm assuming that they have a ny trigger spring for the 42.With all of the small 9mm options available, I've never seen a reason to go with .380.
That said, if I were to be in the market for a .380, I'd give the 42 a good look. Trigger is decent, albeit a little light for the type of gun it's marketed as. Very shootable: it lacks the usual snap of blowback .380s. Mechanical accuracy is lacking compared to the fixed-barrel .380s that have been on the market forever.
New shooters and people who rarely shoot seemed to enjoy it enough. Much more of a lamb than a lion.
I don't hate Glock, but don't really like them either. I'm not big on giving them money.
Exactly.
Man... this is really embarrassing to admit but, I took the pistol apart to clean, which went fine until I went to put it back together. A little ball bearing hit my table (what the heck was that lol?) only to hit the floor too never to be seen again.
Unfortunately - when I gave up looking for the little ball bearing, whatever that ball does... I note it really plays a role in reassembly lol!!. I can't put the slide back on completely - and I can't take it off either lol! ARG
I feel like I am in a circus!!
Anyway - the guys over at Beretta are champs. Shipping label is on the way. I'll have to part with it for a bit. Sigh.
