I wouldn't say heroine but you could definitely give coke a try lol.

I would say building back into your workout routine and the sleep is coming things will most definitely balance out. Just make sure it isn't a health issue brother the family needs you so take care of yourself.

2 cups of coffee in the morning, water the rest of the day and a multi vitamin. Ditch the Monsters. You are crashing when your sugar and insulin levels get out of sync. Substitute one of those 5 hour energy deals for the Monsters and see if it works. Believe anything that Erin Andrews and 50 cent tell ya.

Heroin, no, a heroine? Maybe but it'll probably get you in trouble with the wife.

Seriously, my last job stressed me out so bad I was a dick most of the time and tired all the time. I also have sleep apnea (since I was a teenager) and that will affect you. Do you snore? Ever wake your wife up with you choking or gagging? Regardless, when is the last time you had a physical with a full blood screen? Have them test your testosterone, thyroid, iron, etc. and everyone with a kid knows how much energy they take. Try to take a catnap during the day if you can and even though you seem to eat well, watch the carbs. When I turned 30 my metabolism slowed way down. I don't trust energy drinks or supplements of any kind. I don't drink pop or any other sugary drink and definitely, absolutely, cut out everything in your diet with high fructose corn syrup. Again, seriously. It's hard on your body despite what the commercials say.

As they say, once you pass 30 it's all downhill from there. ;)

Lots of good advice on here ... I'd say the sleep aspect is important. Big difference between sleeping well vs. apnea/tossing. One thing I tried for recovery after heavy lifting/crossfit sessions was ZMA. Now, I'm as suspicious as the next guy when it comes to snake oil and supplements but I heard and read good things. It isn't the most expensive thing in the world, so I gave it a shot. Hard to describe, but essentially I slept like a log and vivid dreams. In the end, more energy through the day etc. which I suspect was from quality sleep. Typical disclaimers - make sure you do your research first, I'm not affiliated with any ZMA co. or Victor Conte ;-)

Hate to say it and I didn't read all the post if its been said AND don't know how much u do but cut down on smoking and/or smoke lighter bodied sticks. When your body has to process smoke and or alcohol recovery gets slower and more difficult. My schedule is insane and doesn't allow for much down time but I have to function on 3 hours of sleep at a time for weeks at a time. Exercise definitely helps so ID times that u can squeeze 20 minutes in of cardio or like was said p90x or insanity or a xtraining series of some time. Get a stroller with big wheels and run the baby you know, change the para-diggem

As was said those drinks are self induced cliffs every drink is a cliff and u crash hard when you fall off.

I am 35 and have two little wee ones running and crawling around. I had the same low energy problem. I started the P90X program 6 months ago and lost 30 lbs. up until I broke my leg 3 months ago I saw tremendous energy improvement. I am slowly going to start the program back up. Best of luck to you.

It does sound like it could be sleep apnea. Have a sleep study done. If you are not getting enough GOOD sleep then it can affect everything. When I went on a CPAP it changed my life.

I am setting up a doctors appointment for early next week. Started my excersise. Bumped my sleep to six and a half hours. Going with a simple multi vitamin. Coffee only in morning for my commute in. Water rest of day

Sounds like a good plan and you may already be headed in the right direction.

Good lord, if I tried that it would kill me. Heck I'm starting to hurt just thinkin about it. I'm in no shape to exercise.
Just curious, have you ever been checked for diabetes?

My woman had gestational diabetes. To make her feel better she tested me every day. So technically no, but it always tested well. This was last summer

Interesting, the more I read this thread I would have laid money on it. I am diabetic and I usually feel like I got run over by a truck. With the things you had posted, especially with the lack of sleep, I would have placed a bet on it.... That's why I shouldn't play the lottery, I ain't good making bets;)
I sure hope you get it figured out, cause I know how I feel and it sucks going through life like this.
