Nice score
Yeah the cabinet alone is worth more than I paid. Not a single scratch in it. Then you add the 1yr old Oasis and it makes it an even better deal. Because of that I wouldn't cry too much to part with them. They're in the freezer after a 3hr stint in the fridge since last night. I will probably try to save them and just keep my good smokes separate in my tupperdore for some weeks and monitor the ones in the tower for any new damage. With three holes, I'd be leery of the entire stash. But sweet find on the humi for sure.

What's the problem? 65 is perfect. So after leaving it on and closed overnight, there's a 16% different in RH -- 81% at the bottom where the Oasis is, 65% up top. There isn't any sticks in it to block the air movement. Will the boveda packs be sufficient or should I go ahead and order some heartfelt beads for up top?
Awesome score brother!!
Cause it was 81% at the bottom and still going? Tonight it's reading 88% at the bottom and 72% at the top. The sensor on the Oasis really needs calibrated... it's reading 63%. Not sure what the guy has the cut off set to. I'll calibrate the sensor and set it to 65% when I get the replacement beads in tomorrow. What's the problem? 65 is perfect.
At this point, you don't know what it will be with cigars in it. Put cigars in the middle and top and see what happens after a few days.
There's really no way to answer your question without knowing the amount of cigars you'll be putting in and the RH after it settles with the cigars in it.
Very nice find! I current use cigar oasis and it's great just do the typical checking of humidor before adding cigars to the humidorSo I scored a pretty good deal on Craigslist from a guy getting out of the hobby. A large tower humidor, a Cigar Oasis Magna humidifier, and 175+ cigars. I just got home and have the cigars in a ziplock bags as my tupperdore is full.
Should I continue to humidify this tower with the Cigar Oasis? How often should the beads be replaced? They are extremely moist right now and the top layer is slightly brown (see picture.) He had it at the bottom of the tower, the sensor up top along with two tiny (~1.5") extra fans up top. I'm guessing if it was good enough for him, it's good enough for me and I might as well get his sticks back in there and adjust as necessary? First thing on the list: a couple hygrometers...
