I purchased two humidors from them in the past year, this was my first cigar order but will certainly not be my last.

Nice to see someone take responsibility for a change.

I'll be a regular customer from now on.

Damn I wish I placed an order. I had a coupon for them from winning a contest and had my eye on some cheap boxes there for a while.

Had to ask my buddy Sam last night who worked for CheapHumidors and is still friends with the owner. After it got to the point where people ordered around 50 boxes at $100.00 off each he had to contact the owner and tell him of these mistakes. They are a good company so I feel kind of bad.

I think to return the honorable favor it would be nice for those who can afford it to cancel their orders, or place a legit order with them in the near future. Or to share the wealth with other BOTL's who weren't as fortunate with some cheapo fivers! I mean at over 50 boxes people here on BOTL made away with over 1,000 cigars.

I have every intention of placing full priced orders with them in the future as soon as I am financialy able to spend $150 - $200 for a box. At the very least, I will give word-of-mouth advertising and recommend to people to buy from them.

It didn't feel right, so i didn't do it.... after seeing how this has played out,
I'm glad i didn't... Mistakes cost business owners all the time, and 6K is a huge
hit...:stickbeat

I was at work today feeling like "less-than-a-brother" for taking advantage of someone's error like I was some kinda crack head or something... I am new to this scene and I cherish the high level of professionalism, honor and integrity that I have found here so in an effort to support the very culture that I desire I am cancelling my order as well....it would be bad karma- to me- to buy them and then smoke 'em...I definetly would not be able to fully relax knowing that I took advantage of a man down.

When a brother is down...I am supposed to lend a hand- not step on his...sorry for preaching. To each their own but I am cancelling. Thank you to the first brother to bring this to my awareness- might even save a brother a job.

I gotta admit...that was fun as hell placing the order last night though.

Kudos to all those canceling the order. If this were you dad's business or your own, you would hope these orders were canceled. Well this is someone's dad's business....

Boy, I feel pretty bad about posting this now. I figured it was an error, and expected maybe a dozen comments confirming that. I foolishly didn't foresee the feeding frenzy costing the company $5000. Hell, I didn't even place my own order!
Posting it here instead of contacting the retailer asking if the pricing was correct or letting them know of the error - what did you expect? A little thought goes a long way.

I'm very disappointed that's exactly what happened and feel ashamed on behalf of those who did take advantage of the situation when it was clearly a mistake. It's not the kind of ethic our community promotes. To those who cancelled in hindsight, not because of the retailer's standing offer but those who understand what it is to be a BOTL - thank you for saving face.
