Back when I was younger and a lot lighter in the ass, I loved to hike. Now I'm older and smarter...camping is anything less than a Holiday INN...I hike to the truck, then back in...
You should consider Isle Royale some time Jay. :thumbsup:chipslave said:A buddy and I go up to the north shore of Lake Superior every year. SOme great hiking up there. A great way to experience nature.

It is entirely too dangerous to go out in the wilderness for an overnight trip unless you are equipped with a flame thrower and possibly a rocket launcher.
Funny you mention that... we have been looking into it. Have you been there?Wasch_24 said:You should consider Isle Royale some time Jay.

Isle Royale is incredible, I would highly recommend it. Most of the hiking I do now is to the humidor and back. You should consider Isle Royale some time Jay.
This year A.J. you're coming camping with all of us!I love camping, but unfortunately haven't been out in the last two years. I like to hang around the fire playing guitar & smoking stoogies though. Not much of a hiker. Day hikes are even rare. (& I live about 5 miles from the AT).
