I really like to sit on the back porch with a nice cigar, newspaper and a suitable beverage just to relax and unwind. Thats one of the reasons why i smoke the smokes

Its relaxation and reflection fr me. Before I was on "the wagon" I smoked one a day. After work every night I'd have one on the ride home and finish it on my porch. It was a good way to unwind and reflect on the days events. I will be back as soon as the dr. says so.

the joy of experiencing artistic beauty in a different way. i see a cigar as a piece of art that you can enjoy with all five senses; the flavor, the aroma, the sound of it burning, the feel of it in your fingers, the look of the cigar and the curling smoke it produces.

it's like playing a beautiful vintage guitar or bass. it's something you experience with your fingers, your ears... you take in the beauty of bygone techniques of instrument building and the aged wood used... there's a vintage smell... and yes, you can almost taste the quality.

when i take the time to get to know these things with all my senses, the feeling is truly profound.

Probably all of the above. At first it was more of an intriguing thing to me, but whenever I do something, I never to a half-hearted job. So I kept on buying and trying new stuff until my cigar palate was stronger. Now I do it for the leisure, flavor, and collecting/hobby aspect.
