How did you find BOTL?

looking for info and samples of htf smokes. lots of breaking info on new releases from the mfrs & retailers. intrigued by tantalizing posts referring to sweet buys in the trading zone, not accessible by newbs- that got me hooked. the great cameraderie made me stay. glad to see a growing contingent of international members. :waving:

This is the first I've seen of this thread... Very cool.

I had been on a couple of boards in the past... nothing great. Just kinda quit going to them. Then, I was listening to Dogwatch Cigar Radio one day, and they interviewed a guy named Andrew that ran a pipe smoking podcast. And he was even from Springfield, MO. So, I started listening to that, and posting on a forum that he hosted. I met this crazy sonuvabitch named AngryBill. Pretty cool guy... sent me a care package of cigars... a brand I hadn't tried... called "Tatuaje". So, then, he tells me about this forum for cigars he came to a lot... Well, the rest is history, and you're stuck with the frog!

I was on alt.smokers.cigars more than ten years ago during college. Great group of guys back then.

Anyhow, when I got back into cigars in a big way earlier this year, I went back to check out ASC, but it's mostly ads and OT posts. So I googled for cigars forums and liked BOTL the best!
