Not to be all doom and gloom, but it will likely exceed $4 nationwide in a month or two.
Almost there, I paid $3.79 for 91 OCT this morning. Good thing i only live about 12 miles from the office. My wife's Jeep will take regular, but only gets about 14 MPG, and it's a real good thing she doesn't drive that much. I'm feeling the need to get a motorcylcle here pretty soon.

Do you remember, for years-diesel was cheaper than the gas. Then, I think the oil companies got greedier (if there is such a thing for those cs'rs) and figured that they sold way more diesel, so why not charge more.

Think about all the trucks, ships, trains and ag equipment used. Hell I think even jet "a" fuel is a high grade diesel. Now take into account, most DOT vehicles that use #2 get around 6-8 miles to the gallon.

Supply and demand...........

So why is the economy all F'd up?

And washington stands by and watches, as the oil companies shove it right up our a@@, take our money and report their highest ever quarterly reports.

Sons a bitches, I get so pissed off just thinkin about how the average american taxpayer, just gets royally screwed. And the takers, just keep on takin. :cursing: :cursing:

How much do you think our fuel would be, if we didn't have to buy it from the other countries-that smile as their busting out the KY.

Plenty of oil here, but the tree hugger left manage put the kybosh on that.

aarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:gangfire: :gangfire:
:gangfire: :gangfire: :gangfire:

I just watched a series of video clips that confirms your last sentence. I will put it up later this afternoon.

The price is climbing here too. Low grade around $3.35, Hi grade $3.70 give or take a little on those.

Glad I got rid of the SUV. That thing sucked fuel like crazy, 16 miles to the gallon. At least with my Jetta I'm getting around 37.

Gas prices set new records

Gasoline prices, continuing their record-breaking surge, are up 46 cents a gallon in California in the past month. Nationally, gas prices set a new record of $3.23 a gallon Tuesday, a fraction of a cent higher than the previous record last May.

Suddenly these look like great prices. WTF is up with that?!?!

Paid $3.65 for regular over the weekend. $90+ to fill up my truck. Crazy!!!

And the Pres says it took us a while to get to this piont, it'll take a while to get away from it too.

Interesting facts...

Average gas price in 1986 - $0.93 / gal
Average gas price in 2004 - $1.85 / gal

The price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline double in 18 years!!!

Average gas price in 2004 - $1.85 / gal
Average gas price today - $3.61 / gal

IT TOOK JUST 4 YEARS FOR THE PRICE TO DOUBLE AGAIN!!!

And it ain't over yet. I've seen predictions of $9/gallon by 2012. Time for a hybrid.

It's rising faster than college costs... Hell at this rate we'll be paying more for gas than the Europeans do and we have more people, WTF! What happened to the Wal-Mart way of doing business? Buy more pay less!

People in the US haven't even begun to see High gas prices, 1 gallon of gas in Norway costs about $9. Its mostly tax of course but still, it forces more fuel efficient cars and many people prefer public transit.

My parents just got back from Bermuda and they said it was around $8 a gallon there. Fishing charters cost around $1200 bucks because the boats get such horrible gas mileage.
