And most of the people I know in the industry are in there late 20's to mid 40's. As far as the air suspensions dieing, never will happen. So many old school street rodders are now using them to give them that low look. With companies like air-ride tech creating new products monthly, you won't see them leave any time soon.

As for MTV pimp my ride. that is joke and a shame...I will not comment any more on that show.
I've always wanted to ride in a car with an air ride suspension. I hear it is a fantastic ride.

Just my take.....

It's "Hum-Vee" not Hummer.I appreciate the work involved in making that vehicle look like it does. And I am sure that they did a good job simply because no one would spend that kind of money on that vehicle and then get cheap with the modifications, but sheesh.

The Hum-vee is a utility vehilcle. Depending on the package, it can ford streams 4 feet deep, drive up a sand dune that a dune buggy couldn't , and probably tow a duec'an'a'half.

Why would you modify in such a way that you would change it into something it is not? I really do not have a problem with "conspicuous consumption" but this just bugs me to no end.

I have driven a Hum-vee through parts of a korean swamp......I mean rice paddy, (BTW, if anyone asks we were forced to do that because the road was flooded), and that was (almost) the most fun I ever had in Korea. That thing is a tool, and to modify it like that turns it from a tool into "Bliing".

I am not a real fan. :)
Rank, though I hear you...the pic attached to this thread is not a "Hum-Vee". As Todd said, it's a truck with the Hummer name attached to it. Without doing a search, I want to say it's got a Tacoma power train or some such? At any rate, the new Hummers are not "Hum-Vee's" in any sense of the word. It's just their heritage. Now...give me an original H1 ANY DAY!
