Fasting is a guaranteed way to get into deep ketosis quickly for sure. And accelerate visceral adipose fat burn.Not that it's the "be all, end all" marker, but I have been testing in the high free ketones the last 24 hours, after a 21 hour fast starting yesterday. Bacon and eggs busted the fast, but I'm still in the "black".
Fasted workouts pull all their energy from body fat once you're fat adapted.
