Have any of the brothers thought of going in on a large ranch or piece of land together? Members of the Co-op could reserve time they could use a section of the place for a ratio of the monies they invested in the purchase price. I think a very low maintenance fee would cover the utilities and any repairs that would be needed.

I guess I don't really have "calgon take me away" moments. If I had a less than desirable day, the golf course was always a good spot normally to clear my head. If all else fails there was always the bar.
I find nothing is more relaxing than walking 9 holes by myself. Playing the game as intended is a completely different experience.

Red River, NM for me. As a kid we would go in the winter and the summer. Skiing during the winter, hiking and playing in the creeks during the summer. We would rent a cabin, with no television, and just relax, listening to the quiet. Always got a lot of reading done there too.

If it were just me myself and I that I had to worry about, I'd be in a cabin in the mountains where your stuck til spring once the snow begins to fall. There's just something super peaceful and relaxing about sitting in front of fire and just watching it burn; no music, no TV, no sounds other than the fire, and nothing to look at except what you can see. In fact, every time I light a fire in the fireplace, I take the time to spend at least 15-20 minutes of just sitting in silence. Back to the cabin, I imagine I'd read a lot of books and get really smart in the process.

With my wife, it'd be on a sail boat sailing the carribean, the Gulf and down to Central and South America. That's our retirement plan.
