What a great Idea, cant wait to see the finish shots!

The end is in sight. I started building the legs and the rest of the base today. The tabletop is done. I'm not entirely sold on my choice of stain but it does look neat. I went with ebony stain and then sanded to give it a distressed look. I probably should have gone with a dark brown but there's nothing I can do about it now. The finished table will be up sometime this week.

I have really never seen a project quite like this in this manner. I will give you a slow clap for a refreshing new spin on a "Cigar coffee table"

There are a few white flecks here and there in the pics but they're not on the table.

The distressing in the stain was intentional. I stained it solid and sanded it back until it had the look I wanted.

I did have fun making this one and I have other projects I plan on making but I can almost feel the headache coming on from all the odd-shaped boxes out there.
