The bookmatch on the veneer looks very nice Sascha. Are you doing tung oil before your finish? Why the painters tape on the front of the cabinet? It does have an awesome sound when all that stuff kicks in doesn't it! It's really coming along nice, you've got to be very proud and happy.

yup, general finishes seal a cell, so far 2 coats.
the tape is to protect the glue area where I'll attach the cherry face frame.

thanx guys, maybe another 3-4 weekends

God am I an idiot or what :hammersma, I knew you still had to attach the face frame, just forgot about that. I always start with the face frame, so I guess I was just thinking it was on there.

Great work Sascha.
Nice shop too. Having the right tools makes all the difference when you add the talent.
My father has a small shop in his basement in Jersey with most of the good stuff. I used to build custom electric guitars from scratch when I was still living up there. They suck for storing cigars though. lol
Looking forward to seeing the finished masterpiece. :thumbsup:
