Hey gang, just wanted to provide an update to prevent issues for anyone else.
The circulation box in the original post has been removed from my unit and has been replaced with a tray full of beads.
The fans blowing through the beads was causing them to be completely white at all times... and the beads I have in my drawers (small sock each) were turning almost completely clear.
The good news is that the two sets of beads were equalizing, but not enough to make me comfortable.
I decreased the fan timing to 5 minutes every 2 hours to see if that would help... turns out, that was still enough air blowing over the beads to almost completely dry them out.
Just a word to the wise my friends. Fans are a good idea... just not directly through your beads.
