Always natural growing up. Went in the woods and got it myself starting at about 10. Now its a high end artificial with lights already in it. Hard to distinguish until you are standing right on top of it. The only thing that the artificial doesn't have is the smell. I buy a few natural wreaths from the local scout troop, done.

My vote is real! Yeah its a bit more of a hassle, it makes a mess and you actually have to decorate and light it. But in my eyers that is all part of the fun, the smell is an added bonus. Plus its only once a year and my job is basically done once i get it into the house and on the base. After that I just need to drag it out to the street. Win win in my book.

In all honesty fake. Since I don't have kids it's kinda hard to get into Christmas. My fake tree is a Charlie Brown tree with one ornament. I love it and it's like 3 ft tall in the living room.

Grew up with a real one and had a real one the first few years we were married. Unfortunately we out that my wife is allergic to pine about 15 years ago so we ended up having to go fake. We were fortunate to find a high end 7' tree at a rummage sale for $20 that looks amazingly real. Aside from the smell it's very hard to tell. No fuss, no muss and Momma is happy so Rupe is happy!
