Wow!! i've never been a part of anytning that grand in my life!! and i hope i never have to again. the procession was at least 500 strong. they shut down eastbound Interstate 8 from I15 to Greenfield (probably 15 miles). nearly every overpass had law enforcement or firefighters saluting. the funeral was absolutely amazing, taking up the entire Shadow Mountain church sanctuary. law enforcement from all over the country attended. unbelievable! that was an awesome sendoff!!

opened a very nice cab,,, picked out a stanford 90th,,, gonna sit in the jaccuzi for a couple hours and reflect....

Wow. I just got chills reading your last post. I know exactly how you feel. Make sure not to forget his family for holidays and when every they need you.

My brother is a city detective and I know most his friends. You guys have a true brotherhood bond I've only experienced while in the military. I hope you know my prayers are with you and his family!

Jeff my deepest sympathy from one DPS worker to another this is a sad tragic loss. It is a sad sad time since this has happened. It is truly unfortunate that people still do stupid things and break the law and risk the life of so many others because of their lack of lawlessness and care for the well being other others around them. Again Jeff I am sorry for your loss and the loss to the Law Enforcement and Public Safety communities. My families and my thought and prayers are with you and yours in the sad time.
