Nothing better than a rainy night, a covered porch, and a great cigar. Toss in a hammock on said covered porch and life is awesome...yep, that was the scene in my early days of cigar smoking. Both when I lived at home and went off to college had a covered place to smoke a cigar, I never really noticed any difference in the cigar. These days if it is raining, I smoke my cigar in my home office with the windows opened to hear the rain, almost the same effect, but nothing beats sitting outside, covered of course, enjoying a cigar.

If I let precipitation stop me from smoking where I currently live, I'd only be able to smoke about 50 days out of the year (seriously). Buy a big umbrella!

Keeping my cigars at 65% (60% for CCs), I seldom find that humidity is a problem, and the humidity here in the spring and summer is 70-85% every day. The only time I have a problem is if it's a cigar that was already too moist, or occasionally on a very large cigar (so that it's been in the humidity for 2 hours now).

Dry air, on the other hand, can be a huge problem. I don't even try to smoke Cameroons in the winter, as I know they'll pop.
