I've found these cigars to be wet. They do need to rest for at least 3 to 4 weeks but if you want to smoke one now dry box it for 72 hours.

Had this issue last night with a T-52. This box was in the shop humidor for about a month before I smoked it. I had almost the exact same issue with a Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial the day before. Have any of you seen this before? It also had the inverted cone to it about 1/2 way in. Had to relight 3 times also.

I bought a box of the T52 that sat in the humi for a couple of months before I smoked one. I had no issues with the ones I have smoked so far. Hope some rest solves your problem. It's a really good cigar even with just a little age in it.

Clint,

Humidity this time of the year in Nica is heavy, real heavy. Dry boxem for a month at 65 and you should be real good. Presto, that is why your having a similar issue on the Jaime Garcia, which is a damn nice smoke ...

Gotta run to breakfast. Great day guys and gals.

i just had my first T52 last night and it had a perfect burn, never had to touch up once. i did have it in my humi (65-67%) for at least 2 months and the weather was perfect last night.
