Who's done there's already and what's the damage?

If we didn't have two kids and a house we would have paid out almost 6k! Fucking taxes! :angerFU:

That's claiming zero dependants on our W4s too.

Our return will be sufficient enough to finally pay off the rest of our debts...no more CC bills! :blob:

Just got my w-2 yesterday. Going to get it done on Wednesday.
I try to not get a bunch back at tax time. No sense giving the Government an interest free loan all year long.

Ugggh!!!!!! Thanks alot, I soooooo don't EVEN want to look at these this year. We have to not only do ours, but take care of the Father In-Law's, plus the Trust's Taxes (Father In-Law passed in October) Thanks for the thread, it will help me stay on top of it. Would rather not wait till 4/15 to start them.

I am sending mine to the accountant this week.
Accountant? Do you have a boat load of convoluted investments or renting a home or something? Taxes are a piece of cake if you only have standard deductions like kids, mortgage, and a few savings accounts.

I wouldn't waste the money Tom...just lookin' out for you.

We have always owed even as home owners so after owing $1600 last year, I changed my W-4 from 0 and married to 0 and withhold at a single rate. An extra $3,000 was sucked out in federal so I damn better get some money back this year!

I do mine online using a link from IRS.Gov It's free to fine but it costs 8 bucks to do state. I also do mine by pencil and book so I make sure I get everything I'm entitled to.

Good sized refund. Nothing spectacular...but decent.

I don't have all my paperwork yet, but I usually break even every year. No sense in giving the govt an interest-free loan from my bank account.
